We read short books! And we love them!
Walking book club meets the final Friday of the month. We enjoy a walk in the park while discussing the latest book. No registration required.

Teen Book Club (ages 13-18)
We will spend the first half of the meeting reading in companionable silence (no required reading – bring any book or pick one up at the library). During the second half of the meeting, we’ll chat about what we’ve read recently, eat some snacks, and decide what we want next month to look like!
No registration needed, just drop in! Newcomers are always welcome!

Silent Book Club is all about getting our community reading and reading out and about in our community.
Join a silent reading book club anytime by just showing up; no registration required.
1st Thursday of the Month: Oakflower Brewing Co. @ 7pm
3rd Thursday of the Month: Starbucks on Valley Rd @ 10am
We do not have a booklist. Bring ANYTHING you want to read and get recommendations from others. Read a book! Read an e-reader! Read a magazine! Want a suggestion? Come by or call the library and we’ll be happy to help you find something.
Sometimes we read quietly together at The Stirling Fountain Ice Cream Parlor or Oakflower Brewing Co. or The Stirling Lake. (We’re open to suggestions for meeting places in town)
Check our calendar for up coming times and locations. Come read with us!
Everyone is welcome!
Join fellow audiobook lovers for a stroll around Kantor Park as you listen to your current read.
Stick around to chat about and share a book you’ve read, the book you’re reading, or something you’re hoping to read.
Any book | Any genre | Any topic
Search our library calendar for Audiobook Club to see our next meetup!
“Kaffee und Kuchen” is an essential German family ritual resembling an English afternoon tea, but in Germany, it offers cakes and a cup of coffee.
Here at the library, we honor this daily tradition twice a year with cakes, coffee, and sharing the best books we’ve read these last few months!
Below is the record breaking 32 recommendations from our October 2025 Kaffee und Kuchen.
Links to the pictured titles are available below to easily place a hold through our website.
